Summary:

 

In today's fast-paced environment, your senior executives have little time to absorb key information and make decisions to guide their organizations. It is important to understand what these leaders need and to write material they can read and act on quickly. This course covers the essentials of how to present information effectively in writing for senior executives. Participants will learn tips for writing clearly and apply these tips to briefing notes, decks and other documents for Senior Management and/or Ministers.  The focus of the session will be on: 

• How to write in a clear, concise manner
• How to approach and organize information for your Senior Executives
• How to structure notes, decks and other documents for executive management

This course is designed for federal, provincial and municipal public servants whose work involves writing for their senior managers and/politicians at all levels and for diverse purposes. This session will improve your senior management writing skills whether you are in IT, human resources, policy, programs, audit, evaluation, administration, corporate or science-related areas.

Instructor:
